Pre-Ballet is designed to fully transition the student from creative dance forms to a classical ballet class.
Ballet terminology, class structure, and introductory steps will be introduced in this course. Pre-Ballet emphasizes creative expression through movement to music. Classes meet once a week for one hour. Ages 6-7; just finished 1st grade.
Learn more about our summer camps for ages 3-7. These week-long camps are an excellent way for your child to learn poise, balance, rhythm, taking instruction, and working with others, and more—all under the guidance of our professional, year-round dance faculty.

Female Identifying Students
- Light pink Bloch cap sleeve leotard (Style #CL5602) or KCBS Nadine Cap Sleeve Elevé leotard
- “Ballet Pink” color Body Wrappers Total Stretch Mesh Seamed Convertible Tights
- Pink, split sole ballet shoes
- Optional flesh toned tights and shoes for ballet
- Dancers are not to wear undergarments under their leotard and tights. If a dancer needs to wear undergarments, we ask that it be easily concealed by their leotard.
- Hair pulled back neatly and secure in a ballet appropriate hairstyle
- No jewelry, accessories or watches. Stud earrings are allowed.
