At KC Ballet School, we believe dance is for everyone, including adults with little or no dance experience. Our Studio class schedule is flexible and teens/adults can take as many or as few classes as their schedule allows.
Studio classes are designed for teens and adults with varying levels or no experience, who are interested in the fun and fitness of dance. Classes are drop-in style and meet weekly. Students may attend any or all of the classes that suit their interests or level of ability. We have capacity limits on all Studio classes. Please check Mindbody or give us a call to see if a class has reached capacity or not.

Signing up is easy!
Class packs allow you to take as many different classes as you want or you may use them to take the same class week after week. We ask that when you arrive for your class, please stop at the front desk to check in. Studio classes have a strict capacity limit, make sure to sign up ahead of time on the MindBody app.

How to Register In Person
To register in person for dance classes for adults, please download and fill out the appropriate form to give to the front desk upon arrival. You may also arrive 15 minutes early to sign-up and complete the waiver before class.

- Currently enrolled KCBS Academy student rate is $12 for a single ballet class or $160 for a 20-class pack.

We offer Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced classes in Ballet. All classes listed include barre, center work, and stretching.

This class is geared towards beginner and intermediate ballet students ages 13-18, who wish to enhance their ballet technique.

Enjoy a full Pilates studio with state-of-the-art Pilates equipment. Regardless of your fitness level, you will feel comfortable in our private Pilates studio. We teach ALL people.

There is no experience necessary for this upbeat introduction to Jazz dance. Filled with inviting and invigorating energy, each class includes jazz warm-up, technical combinations, progressions, and choreography.

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' technique by focusing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance.

Yoga is an ancient practice that involves physical poses, concentration, and deep breathing.

Participants will learn a wide variety of fiery Flamenco dance steps, rhythmic hand clapping, and how to exude attitude.

This quick-paced class is challenging with a mix of tap styles: soft shoe, Broadway, and contemporary rhythm.

This class focuses on promoting thoughtful muscular engagement, functional placement, and healthy movement patterns to tone and lengthen the whole body in a positive, uplifting environment.
