We believe dance is for everyone, including teens and adults with little or no dance experience. The class schedule is flexible and you can take as many classes as your schedule allows.
Enjoy the fun and fitness of dance! Our drop-in classes meet weekly and you can attend any or all of the classes that suit your interests or level of ability.
To sign-up for a studio class, you can register online or in person. Signing up online speeds up your check in process and reserves your spot in class. Brand new students can purchase a 2-week Unlimited Pack for $25. Please allow a few extra minutes before the class you plan to take to check in at the front desk.
While there is no dress code for Studio classes, it is asked that participants wear athletic clothing that you are able to move in. Ballet shoes are highly recommended for ballet class, and tap shoes for tap class. Please no crop-tops in any classroom.
If you are new to dance, consider trying beginner classes, or ask the Studio staff what classes to attend. If a level is not listed for the class, then all levels of experience are welcome! The Studio staff are there to help you find what classes fit best.

There are offers available for college students, KCB Barre members, and KCB Season Subscribers. for ballet studio classes and class packs. Make sure to tell the front desk when you arrive for class to see if you qualify.
We offer two great locations in downtown Kansas City and in Johnson County.
Both campuses offer free adjacent parking. You may also use the Bolender Center’s drop off lane for convenience. The Bolender Center offers a security officer to ensure safety.
Looking for academy classes?
Kansas City Ballet School offers structured school year classes, as well as summer programs, for students wishing to hone their skills, get moving, and have fun. Most students need to take a placement class.
