KCB School’s Studio Division is passionate about helping you to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle. Our high-quality classes appeal to the diversity of our community. We offer classes that are current and cutting edge for everyone from the beginner to the more advanced participant and strive to provide a meaningful, enjoyable, and memorable experience every time. Studio classes are designed for teens and adults with varying levels to no experience, who are interested in the fun and fitness of dance. Classes are drop-in style and meet weekly. Students may attend any or all of the classes that suit their interest or level of ability.

All classes listed include barre, center work, and stretching.
What is Intro to Ballet?
Class Length: 1.5 Hours
This class is designed for students who are new to ballet and teaches the fundamental elements and steps of an absolute beginner ballet class. This class will move at a slower pace to introduce ballet terminology and proper technique. Ballet shoes are required.
What is Beginning Ballet?
Class Length: 1.5 Hours
Designed for those with little ballet experience, this class will teach basic technique and terminology in a fun and positive environment. The class includes stretching, barre work, and steps that travel across the room.
What is Intermediate Ballet?
Class Length: 1.5 Hours
For dancers with some ballet experience, this class will offer longer ballet combinations while continuing to expand on terminology and technique. This class will have a steady pace that will be fun and challenging.
What is Intermediate Ballet Variations?
Class Length: 1 Hour 15-minutes
In this intermediate-level class, students will learn variations (solos) from classical ballets. Pointe shoes are optional. Class will begin with a short barre to warm-up, followed by learning and practicing a variation under the guidance of the teacher.
What is Advanced Ballet?
Class Length: 1.5 Hours
For experienced dancers, with knowledge of technique and terminology, this class will challenge you both physically and mentally. If you are looking to further your technique, increase your flexibility and stamina, or focus on your performing quality, then this is the class for you.
What is SILVER Ballet?
Class Length: 1 Hour
For dancers ages 60+, you’ll move through ballet steps and stretches in a positive environment, in this class designed for the mature body. Ballet shoes are required.
What is Beg/int pointe?
Class Length: 1 Hour
This class is for dancers who have a foundational understanding of ballet technique, preferably at an intermediate level. At least some experience with pointe work is recommended. The class will move at a moderate pace with attention paid to proper form, safe technique, building strength, and developing artistry. Please contact us with questions, as needed.
