Kansas City Ballet School Collegiate Prep Intensive

The Collegiate Prep Intensive is a program for serious dance students aged 16-22 with the aim of pursuing dance study in college and beyond to a professional career. Admittance is by audition only. Training will be with Kansas City Ballet School Artistic School Staff.

Information
Students have the option of living at the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI). This housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, as demand exceeds capacity.
Located in the heart of Kansas City, KCAI is an independent four-year college of fine arts and design founded in 1885. The beautiful campus is nestled in a historic neighborhood surrounded by two of the best art museums in the country, the Nelson-Atkins Museum and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
Kansas City Ballet’s Collegiate Prep Intensive Audition Tour begins in January, visiting various locations across the country, ending in late February. Video auditions are also accepted for those unable to attend onsite.
Auditions are required to ensure proper placement and a tailored training experience. Register for an in-person audition or submit a recorded video.
