Preparatory Division 10-14
Join us for an enriching and educational ballet experience this Summer!
Students participating in our Preparatory Division summer program classes will have the opportunity to develop their technique and artistry, growing as dancers with the support of our outstanding faculty. Classes are available each summer at both our Bolender Center and South Campus.
Preparatory Levels
The Kansas City Ballet School’s Junior Summer Intensive is specifically designed with the young dancer in mind.
This three-week program offers students a rigorous and comprehensive study of ballet technique and exposure to a broad variety of dance styles. All curriculum in this program is presented in a nurturing and positive environment at Kansas City Ballet School’s South Campus. Students will experience a truly unique program while working with members of the Kansas City Ballet’s artistic staff and school faculty.

Any new student who wishes to join our Preparatory Summer classes must take a placement class to determine his or her skill level.
