2026 KCBS Adult Ballet Summer Intensive

Dance & Fitness in Kansas City

July 27 – July 31, 2026

We are thrilled to offer our Adult Ballet Summer Intensive, now in its third year, for dancers ages 18 and older, taking place at our South Campus at Meadowbrook!

Adult Ballet Summer Intensive

Designed for adult dancers from across the country, the KCBS Adult Ballet Summer Intensive offers a week of focused training, artistic growth, and community. Led by our exceptional KCBS faculty, dancers will experience world-class instruction in a supportive and engaging environment.

Levels of Training

Two levels are offered, welcoming dancers with foundational ballet or more intermediate/advanced experience an opportunity to deepen their artistry and technical refinement. Note: a foundational knowledge of ballet is required to register.

Focus of the KCBS absi

This intensive is ideal for adult dancers who value thoughtful instruction, physical conditioning, and meaningful connection through dance. Classes will include ballet technique, optional pointe classes, variations, classical repertoire, and new work. Each day will begin with a mindful conditioning class to support dancer wellness, and each day will end with a thoughtful lecture on a variety of educational topics.
