Level 4: A pivotal chapter in every dancer’s training, marked by the milestone of pointe work. Classes meet four days a week.
In Level 4, students strengthen and expand their technique, building stamina and broadening their repertoire of ballet steps. Female students begin pointe work – a milestone that demands a careful, methodical approach to develop the strength required for safe and successful dancing on pointe. Men will have a men’s class once a week, in addition to their usual technique classes.
*Students should expect two consecutive years of study for completion of Level 4.
