Ballet 101

Dispelling myths for newcomers and skeptics! These 60-minute workshops for community groups and businesses prove that ballet is so much more than layers of tulle and satin shoes. So step away from the stereotypes and learn why the common misconceptions about ballet are bunk.

Dancer for a Day

Community students are invited to experience what the day in the life of a professional dancer  is like. Students follow the schedule of a dancer’s day from morning class, to rehearsal, to costume fittings, to performance.   Appropriate for elementary, middle or high school students.

Location: Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity, home of Kansas City Ballet
