KCBS has dedicated Boys’/Men’s classes to ensure that they receive training specific to their needs. Once they reach Level 2, Boys/Men will attend some classes separately from the girls.
Boys/Men will attend Academy classes that are at the appropriate level for their development alongside their female counterparts. In addition they will also have Boys’/Men’s classes to enhance this training. For a complete class list, schedule, tuition and dress code visit each Level’s specific page.
Academy Levels
For the Children’s Division, the class level is typically determined by age and grade:
Dance with Me: Ages 2-3
Creative Movement: Ages 3-5 (Pre-school)
Fundamentals of Dance: Ages 5-6 (Kindergarten)
Pre Ballet: Ages 6-7 (1st grade)
New students from 2nd grade and up will need to take a placement class. More placement information can be found here.
