Fundamentals of Dance will introduce the child to the structure of a dance class, transitioning them towards Pre-Ballet.
Fundamentals of Dance expands on the elements and practices of Creative Movement. Quality of movement, the intricacy of patterns and expectations are elevated for the maturing child. While dance elements are further developed, imagery, musicality, creative thinking, spatial awareness, and teamwork continue to be emphasized. Classes meet once a week for an hour.
Levels are age-based* with the cut off 8/31/25.
Fundamentals (5 year olds)
*It is still at the School Director and Artistic Staff’s discretion to adjust a students placement should it be necessary and appropriate.
