Kansas City Ballet Summer Intensive

The Kansas City Ballet Summer Intensive offers a curriculum focused on classical ballet with exposure to a variety of dance disciplines. Artistic staff and school faculty of Kansas City Ballet combine to create one of the best summer intensive offered in the country. Our world-class guest instructors bring additional expertise that is unmatched and will help prepare students for the demands of a professional career. We educate not just the dancer, but the whole person.
Kansas City Ballet checked every box you could want out of an intensive, and it still managed to surpass my expectations. I had the greatest time there; I cannot wait to go back next summer!

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve a place in the 5 week Summer Intensive.
A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold a place in the dormitory for the 5 week Summer Intensive.
These deposits are applied toward the total tuition/housing costs. The balance of fees is due by May 18, 2026.
Information Packets & Daily Schedule
Students successfully completing the Summer Intensive will receive a Certificate of Completion. The program has approximately 80 hours of Ballet Technique and 80 hours of additional Dance training.

As included as part of your registration fee, each student will receive one (1) Elevé Leotard or Men’s Shirt. The order form below is for ordering ADDITIONAL leotards/shirts ONLY.
Summer Intensive T-shirt
Summer Intensive T-shirts are available for purchase. For all dorm students, one (1) KCBS SI T-shirt is included in your housing package.
