Level 1 is the first level of academic ballet training in Kansas City Ballet School. Upon entering this level students are expected to have a respect for the classroom and learning process.
Dancers will be introduced to elementary ballet steps both at the barre and center. Stretching, coordination, strength building, and musicality will be major components in the students dance education. Students are responsible for information presented in class in addition to practicing independently outside of the classroom. This class meets twice a week for 60 minutes.
