Summer Prep & Fall Prep Classes
Summer Dance Training in Kansas City
Join us for an enriching and educational ballet experience this Summer!
Students participating in our Summer & Fall Prep programs will be challenged and supported in classes with our outstanding faculty. Classes are available each summer at our Bolender Center campus. KCBS students in Level 4, Intermediate, Advanced, and Pre-Professional divisions are eligible for our Summer Prep & Fall Prep classes. Dancers who have been accepted into our Summer Intensive are also eligible to join these classes. Placement is required for new students.

Uniform Requirements
FEMALE IDENTIFYING
- Solid colored leotard
- Pink or flesh toned ballet shoes
- Pink or flesh toned convertible tights
- Jazz shoes (any color)
- Socks for contemporary
- Hair pulled back neatly and secure
- No jewelry or hair accessories. Stud earrings are allowed.
MALE IDENTIFYING
- White short-sleeved t-shirt
- Black bike shorts/leggings
- White ballet shoes with white ankle socks
- Jazz shoes (any color)
- Socks for contemporary
- Hair should be neatly styled and kept out of the face
- No jewelry, accessories or watches. Stud earrings are allowed
Get Moving
To enroll in one of our prep classes, each student must take a placement class to determine their skill level.
