About Umbra
Humans are excellent storytellers. We write books and poems to be read; songs and screenplays to be performed. We also create stories about ourselves over the span of our lives. Over time, these stories merge together to make the fabric of our identity, and they inevitably shape how we walk through the world. What happens when the narrative we tell ourselves doesn’t match how we are perceived by others? What we don’t allow ourselves to see maybe just the thing that is holding us back. Gaining an honest perspective on our own story can be a long journey, but if we face ourselves wholeheartedly it’s possible we can flourish in ways that we never knew we could.
