Gillian Yoder

KCB II

Gillian Yoder was born in San Diego, California and grew up in Jupiter, Florida. She began her training at Paris Ballet and Dance, studying there for six years. Ms. Yoder completed her pre-professional training at Next Generation Ballet, under the direction of Philip Neal for five years, and at The Colburn School, under the direction of Jenifer Ringer and James Fayette for one year. In addition, she spent five summers studying at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. In 2021, Ms. Yoder joined Kansas City Ballet as a trainee, where she performed multiple corps de ballet roles in ballets such as George Balanchine’s Serenade, Lila York’s Celts, Devon Carney’s The Nutcracker, Septime Webre’s The Wizard of Oz, Devon Carney’s Giselle, and Alexander Ekman’s Cacti. Ms. Yoder spent one year as a trainee and is in her second year as a KCB II.
