Joshua Kiesel

Joined KCB in 2021, +2 Years – Second Company

Joshua Kiesel, originally from Hanover Park, Illinois, began his training at The Faubourg School of Ballet before continuing at The Washington School of Ballet on full scholarship. In 2019, Kiesel joined KCB II before joining the company in 2021. His repertoire with Kansas City Ballet includes Basilio in Anna-Marie Holmes’ Don Quixote, Siegfried in Devon Carney’s Swan Lake, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker and works by William Forsythe, Lila York and Septime Webre. He has also performed internationally as a guest artist and was awarded Third Prize at the 2022 Helsinki International Ballet Competition.
