Ticketing
-
Digital mobile ticketing is a safe and secure way to access tickets to your upcoming Kansas City Ballet performances. It offers you the convenience of using your smartphone as your event tickets with unique QR codes that can be scanned from your screen.
Please see these instructions before arriving for your event.
1. Visit tickets.kcballet.org
Log in to tickets.kcballet.org using the same email and password you used when purchasing your tickets. This must be done only on your mobile phone when entering the theater. For quick access, bookmark the web address on your device and log in before arriving for your event.
If you do not have a login password or do not remember it, please click Forgot Password to set a new password.
2. Select your event
You can manage your tickets on your mobile device, and can easily add each ticket to your iPhone Wallet (Google Wallet is not yet available).
Digital tickets can be shared with anyone via the tickets.kcballet.org website by tapping the share tickets button, entering the recipient’s name, and selecting the ticket(s) you would like to share. Ticket holders can share, forward, return, and reclaim tickets.
3. Scan your tickets at the venue
The QR code will appear two hours before doors open for the performance. Your QR codes include technology to protect them as they regenerate every 30 seconds; screenshots or printouts of the mobile tickets will not work and will not be accepted at entry.

Don’t trust search engines – make sure the result you click on goes to kcballet.org or kauffmancenter.org.
Kansas City Ballet Box Office, kcballet.org, and the Kauffman Center Box Office, kauffmancenter.org, are the only official ticket sellers for Kansas City Ballet performances. Both sites offer the same accurate prices and fees.
If you have purchased through a ticket reseller website, you are likely paying up to 15 times the actual ticket price. Your ticket and seating location might also not be valid. Kansas City Ballet and the Kauffman Center can’t guarantee entry to the event.
Kansas City Ballet and the Kauffman Center can’t offer a refund for tickets purchased from an unauthorized reseller. To request a refund, you may be able to refute the purchase with the original seller or your credit card company.

KANSAS CITY BALLET RARELY CANCELS PERFORMANCES DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.
An exception to this is an official city-wide emergency that requires citizens not to be on the streets. On the unlikely chance that Kansas City Ballet cancels a performance, such cancellation will be announced at least 2 hours before the scheduled start of the show. The means of communication will include radio and television announcements as possible, email notices to the patron email we have on record, announcements on our website, and voice mail messages at our Box Office number (816.931.8993).
Patrons should always assume the performance will proceed. Kansas City Ballet believes that patrons should use their best judgment regarding travel to and from Kansas City Ballet events and always place their safety as the first and highest priority.
If Kansas City Ballet performs as scheduled, best efforts may be made to accommodate those patrons unable to attend the performance by offering them the option of moving to another future performance of the same production (exchange fees will apply). We cannot guarantee seating in this case, primarily if the weather event occurs near the close of a production run. Call the Box Office at 816.931.8993 during regular business hours to discuss options.
Kansas City Ballet does not refund the purchase price of tickets if the performance has occurred.
In the rare occurrence that Kansas City Ballet cancels a performance due to weather or other emergencies, Kansas City Ballet will promptly refund the cost of the ticket(s) but will not be responsible for any “third party” costs such as the facility fees or parking fees, both of which are “pass-through” fees and are not retained by Kansas City Ballet.
Tickets purchased through a reseller will not be refunded. Contact them to inquire about obtaining a refund.
Thank you.

All patrons, including children on laps, entering the theater must have a ticket. At Kansas City Ballet, we encourage young audiences to attend our shows (assuming the program content is appropriate). However, it is strongly suggested that no babies or toddlers be in attendance. Many children over the age of five can remain happily and quietly seated for a two-hour performance, but you know your child best. Parents will be expected to immediately remove children creating a disturbance during the performance.
