Andrew Ouellette
Pianist
Andrew Ouellette is a pianist, composer, and educator. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, where he had the privilege to study under the leadership of world-renowned saxophonist Bobby Watson. Andrew also earned his MBA from UMKC, with a focus in Finance. He enjoys a busy playing and teaching schedule in the Kansas City area and has been blessed to be able to share the stage with numerous nationally and internationally recognized artists such as Bobby Watson, Roy Hargrove, Tivon Pennicott, Lonnie McFadden, Lisa Henry, Marilyn Maye, Matt Kane, The Sons of Brasil, Hermon Mehari, Peter Schlamb and many others. Andrew has been fortunate to study under Roger Wilder, Bram Wijnands, and John McIntyre. In 2013, Andrew began accompanying classes for Kansas City Ballet’s dance residency program, R.O.A.D. He has been an accompanist for ballet classes at Kansas City Ballet School since 2015, and also accompanies modern and ballet classes for UMKC’s Dance Department.
