Quinse Thompson’s love for dance began at a very young age. She danced competitively and has trained in many genres of dance, such as jazz and hip hop. Ms. Thompson attended Kansas State University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and General Business Management. She was a 4-year member of the K-State dance team, Classy Cats, where she was the NDA Hip Hop Top Gun Winner and 2 time NDA All American. Ms. Thompson also received her Conflict Resolution Certification in 2017. After graduating from Kansas State University, Ms. Thompson began teaching at her home dance studio in Wichita, KS, Midwest Dance Mechanix, as the Hip Hop Director, Jazz Instructor, Creative Movement Instructor, and Competition Choreographer. She was also the Front Desk Associate for Midwest Dance Mechanix and helped with studio enrollment, administration, showcases, competitions, and payroll. In 2020, she received her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Wichita State University. Ms. Thompson has over 5 years of human resource experience specializing in onboarding, recruiting, and new hires. She is excited for her new role as the South Campus Administrator and looking forward to being a part of the KC Ballet family.
