Nora, a Kansas City Ballet Academy graduate, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. There she studied under Paula Weber, Gary Abbott, Mary Pat Henry, DeeAnna Heitt, Ronald Tice, Sabrina Madison-Cannon and David Justin. She had the honor of performing many pieces by her professors in her four years there. As well as studying at UMKC, Nora was a member of the Kansas City Youth Ballet and spent summers at the Kansas City Ballet School and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Nora attended the American College Dance Association in 2016 and participated in KC’s Fringe Festival in 2015 and 2016. Nora dances professionally with KC Contemporary Dance and freelances around the city with choreographers such as Suzanne Ryan-Strati and Katarina Fitzpatrick. Nora enjoys teaching to kids of all ages and all abilities and is thrilled to pass on her love of dance.
