Brigitte Benyei

Originally from Minnesota, Brigitte grew up surrounded by dance and the beauty of the northern Great Lakes. She later relocated to Kansas City, where she obtained a BFA in Dance & Choreography from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Since graduating, she has had the opportunity to perform professionally with notable organizations and productions such as the Lyric Opera of Kansas City (Carmen, La Traviata and Pearl Fisher), Storling Underground, National Water Dance, and various projects through Charlotte Street. In addition to her work as a choreographer, she is a passionate yoga instructor and has been teaching ballet and yoga at the Kansas City Ballet School for six years.
