The Kansas City Ballet Guild will host its 49th annual ballet gala on Saturday, Oct. 1st. The event has been rebranded as the Ballet Bash and will kick off the Kansas City Ballet’s 2016-2017 season highlighting A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Ballet’s home, the Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity!
Kimberlee Ried and Erik Bergrud are the co-chairmen of the event and are pleased to announce Nancy Lee and Jonathan Kemper will serve as the Honorary Chairs for 2016. The annual Pirouette Award will be presented to a person/persons or corporate entity contributing extraordinary amounts of time, talent, and energy to benefit the Kansas City Ballet and the performing arts community.
This gala fundraiser will be an evening of cocktails, sumptuous food, and dancing, with the proceeds benefiting Kansas City Ballet and Kansas City Ballet School.
