New Moves is in its last weekend for the 2015-2016 season and every performance has been wonderful! We had the opportunity to present six world premieres, three of which were choreographed by our company dancers and the other three by guest choreographers. All performances for New Moves took place at the Todd Bolender Center and were accompanied by a reception with refreshments.
The KC Ballets young professionals group BARRE KC held a fun evening at Tom’s Town Distilling Co. prior to the Thursday performance. BARRE KC is a membership group that hosts fun events and provides discounts to those interested in supporting the ballet. Both members and non-members of BARRE KC were welcomed to the special event. Tom’s Town generously had their full menu of drinks and tasty snacks, it was a great way to kick off the evening.
