Proceeds from the Soirée will enable hundreds of  public school students in and around the KC metro area to experience the joy and power of dance during school hours!

This fundraiser benefits KC Ballet’s Reach Out And Dance (R.O.A.D) Residency scholarship schools, in partnership with the Kansas City Public School district in Missouri and Turner Unified School district in Kansas. The program provides free 12-week dance residencies each fall to all third grade students in 16 elementary schools. R.O.A.D. classes combine dance, live music and academic curriculum to create a fun learning environment for students.

Your gift also provides the R.O.A.D. Scholarship Program (celebrating 5 years this year) with the support it needs to engage hundreds of select talented public school students from these R.O.A.D. residencies the opportunity to continue studying dance at Kansas City Ballet’s facility, tuition- free!
