Molly Vaeth Yuelkenbeck

Molly Yuelkenbeck received her BFA in dance performance from UMKC’s Conservatory of Music and Dance. She danced with Deeply Rooted Dance Theater’s 2nd Company, Tyego Dance Project, and The Chicago Civic Ballet. She was a choreographer for performances benefiting the ALS Association Keith Worthington Chapter of Kansas City and The Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City.

Molly has enjoyed teaching dance to all ages and abilities in Chicago and Kansas City. She earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2020 and has had the opportunity to work in inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient psych, outpatient pediatrics, and school-based occupational therapy. Molly’s occupational therapy practice is highly influenced by the remarkable dance instructors she has learned from over the years; including, Michele Hamlett-Weith, Michael Simms, Sabrina Madison Cannon, DeeAnna Hiett, Birute Barodicaite, and Randy Newsom.  She believes in the healing power of movement and music when it is shared with others.
