Debbie Jacobs-Huffaker

Debbie Jacobs-Huffaker holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Wichita State University. Debbie has extensive experience as a dance educator. She has taught all ages and experience levels, from beginner to professional. Debbie has served as an Adjunct Instructor of Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Avila University. She has been on the faculties at Legacy School of the Arts, Somerset Ballet and The Wichita Children’s Theatre and Dance Center. Debbie has also been a guest instructor and coach for numerous dance studios. Her professional credits include: Mid-America Dance Theatre, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Theater in the Park, Starlight Theater, and Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company. Debbie is also a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through Classical Pilates Education and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, D.K. Body Balancing Method. She is dedicated to developing strong technical dancers and is excited to share her expertise and enthusiasm for dance with her students. Debbie is honored to be on the faculty at the Kansas City Ballet School.
