Generous supporters of the 2019 Nutcracker Ball enjoyed a private dinner on the stage of the Muriel Kauffman Theatre at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019. The “Land of Sweets” backdrop from The Nutcracker ballet provided the perfect setting for the event. The Muriel McBrien Kauffman Foundation underwrote the event. An elegant dinner was served amid the wondrously creative table decorations provided by Craig Sole and Larry Wheeler. Entertainment included the beautiful music of the Brookside Strings quartet as well as performances by Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company Dancers and Company Dancers, Liang Fu and Amaya Rodriguez.
