Q: TELL US WHY YOU BECAME A DANCER?
A: I was 2 years old when I started dancing. My grandmother and mother were dancers and owned a small dance studio in Edmond, Okla. I have always loved moving and dancing to music and am so thankful that I was taught by such strong woman in my life. I would say my Grandma has been the most inspirational person in my life and dance career so far. She used to dance in NYC as a professional ballet dancer. She has taught me to fight for what I love and to never give up. I would not be where I am today without my wonderful dance teachers and coaches as well. They encourage me to always keep going and to do everything with love!
Q: HOW DO YOU STAY FIT AND HEALTHY OUTSIDE OF THE STUDIO?
A: I am a huge believer in going to the gym and setting goals for yourself to get you stronger. I like swimming and riding my bike as well! It’s always nice to exercise in fresh air, if you can.
Q: WHAT EXCITES ME MOST ABOUT THIS SEASON?
A: I would say I was most excited about Swan Lake because of the strength and power you have to achieve as a whole with the dancers around you. It was very hard work but when you have your friends to support you anything is possible!
Q: WHAT IS SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE WOULDN’T KNOW ABOUT YOU?
A: Something that people don’t know most about me is that I have a huge family! I am one of 10 brothers and sisters. I am currently the only one dancing professionally.
