Kim Trudell
Ballet
Kim Trudell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, she has trained as a dance educator with Luna Dance & Creativity (Berkeley, CA) and pursued ongoing professional learning with the National Dance Education Organization. She was on faculty at KCBS for eleven years where she specialized in the Children’s Division, led various professional development workshops, and in 2015 founded our Adaptive Dance program. In 2017, she founded a nonprofit to provide trauma-informed creative dance in collaboration with local organizations. With nearly thirty years of teaching experience, she has also offered her expertise on faculty at Providence School of Arts and The Barstow School. In May 2024, she renewed her journey with KCB as the Partnership Specialist. She is now overseeing Matinees for Schools, Sensory Friendly Performances, and developing new programs and partnerships to connect the Ballet with our community!
