Choreography: William Whitener
Music: Peggy Lee recordings
Mr. Whitener examines the many guises of love in this enlargement of the original work created for Wylliams/Henry Danse Company. The updated version now employs a larger cast and consists of two additional Peggy Lee songs, Similau and Lover.
After much extensive research in the UMKC Marr archives collection and with assistance from Mr. Chuck Haddock, Whitener selected songs best exemplifying Miss Peggy Lee’s distinctive vocal style that combines the delicate and the driving, with husky and seductive qualities.
