White Noise is an ensemble work featuring two major pas de deux as bookends as well as a central pas de trois. This piece maintains the classical ballet vocabulary while presenting new contemporary movement ideas. The women will be in pointe shoes and the men either Ballet shoes or socks. The work focuses on the navigation of our oversaturated culture. Throughout the piece there is a feeling of tension and constant exhaustive movement. The final four minutes of the work are entirely devoted to a couple who manages to find the peace in their world and we are left with a feeling as though we found the light at the end of the tunnel.

World Premiere: March 28-31, 2019 at the Todd Bolender Center
