Stages

Music: Musical selections composed by Antonio Vivaldi 

Set to various viola concertos and cello sonatas of Vivaldi, Stages is an abstract piece that challenges and explores the different facets of movement of which dancers are capable. The piece is inspired by Elliott’s studies of ballet and acts as a love letter to this stage of his life; it is both dedicated to the experience of being a student as well as celebrating the talents of the dancers performing the work.
