A hallway is direct, pointed—it takes you from where you are to where you want to go. Theaters are the perfect juxtaposition of the tight, winding labyrinths that are their endless hallways against the massive, bright expanses that are their window-filled lobbies. It’s almost a foreign notion now because it’s been over a year since theater doors were open. That journey, like a night of live performance, feels like a distant memory. The hallways, or corridors, of a theater carry guests from entry to experience to exit. The experience has been put on hold—and we wait with anticipation to sense it again. While we might not see the end yet, we know where we want to go and will continue down the corridor until we get there.
