Join us for the 54th annual gala!
In celebration of the return of the performing arts in our community, the Kansas City Ballet Guild is proud to kick-off the coming holiday season with the 54th annual Nutcracker Ball. This festive event will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the Neptune Ballroom of the stunning Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City. Following an evening of cocktails, dinner and performances by the Kansas City Ballet, dance the night away to the sounds of the Fountain City 45’s at the after party!
All proceeds from the Nutcracker Ball support Kansas City Ballet. Your gift as a benefactor allows the company to continue providing outstanding classical ballets, contemporary world premieres and exciting works from gifted international choreographers. The Ball also supports educational and engagement programs for all in our community as well as scholarships for students in the Kansas City Ballet School.
The Loews Hotel provides the ideal setting for this joyous event with a modern look and stunning views of the Kansas City skyline. The ballroom sparkles with its chandeliers and inviting colors of blue and cream offering a welcoming hospitality for guests to mingle, dine and dance the night away. This fundraising event is more important than ever. When main stage productions and engagement programs resume, Kansas City Ballet needs to be fully prepared. With your help, Kansas City Ballet will once again provide our whole community with transformational performances, fulfilling its mission of inspiring and engaging people in our community and beyond through dance.
In light of the present safety concerns from the COVID – 19 Delta Variant, the Kansas City Ballet Guild will be following the current CDC and local mandates at the time of the Ball. This may include showing proof of vaccination and wearing masks indoors. For more information on the current mandate visit: https://www.kcmo.gov/city-hall/departments/health/coronavirus-covid-19-kcmo-information-and-response/reopen

Presented by Kansas City Ballet Guild
The Kansas City Ballet Guild was formed in 1961 by a group of KCB dancers’ parents to promote interest in and provide financial assistance to the company. Since then, the Guild has been integral to the success of the professional, world-class Kansas City Ballet. More than 170 members strong, these men and women enjoy special educational programming, exclusive access to company dancers, and have a lot of fun! Their activities also raise significant necessary funds for the company’s repertory, its community and educational programs, and the KCB archives.
The Kansas City Ballet Guild proudly presents the Annual Pirouette Award to a person or persons who have contributed extraordinary amounts of time, talent, and energy in a voluntary capacity to benefit the Kansas City Ballet and the performing arts community.
