Zoey Uhlman

Zoey Uhlman was born in Reno, Nevada, and raised in Eugene, Oregon. She began her early training at Eugene Ballet Academy and furthered her education at Schramel Conservatory of Dance in New Orleans under the direction of Marjorie and Greg Schramel. Uhlman also attended summer intensives with the School of Philadelphia Ballet, Ballet West and Kansas City Ballet. 

At 16, Uhlman joined New Orleans Ballet Theater as a trainee, performing corps de ballet roles in George Balanchine’s Serenade and Concerto Barocco. Her repertoire includes Romeo and Juliet, Dracula, Swan Lake, Carmina Burana, original works by Oliver Halkowich and The Nutcracker choreographed by Greg and Marjorie Schramel.

In 2024, Uhlman joined Kansas City Ballet as a trainee through the Kansas City Ballet School Summer Intensive and was promoted to KCB II in 2026. With Kansas City Ballet, she has performed numerous corps de ballet roles in Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland) and The Great Gatsby, Devon Carney’ The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes, Anna-Marie Home’s Don Quixote, Lila York’s Celts, Agnes de Mille’s Rodeo and Bruce Well’s Beauty and the Beast and Snow White.
