Zander Rhys

Zander Rhys, from Iowa, began his ballet training at the School of Classical Ballet and Dance under Serkan Usta and Lori Grooters. In 2023, he continued training with BalletMet under Maria Torija and Dmitri Suslov, performing Basilio in Don Quixote, Solar in La Bayadère, and roles in George Balanchine’s Tarantella and Divertimento No. 15. Rhys performed with the main company and worked with choreographers Edwaard Liang and Remi Wörtmeyer. Since joining KCB II, Rhys has performed in Devon Carney’s Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Septime Webre’s The Great Gatsby. He is in his second season with KCB II.
