Olivia Kalamboukas

Ballet

Olivia Kalamboukas began her dance journey in her hometown of São Paulo, Brazil. After moving to the U.S., she furthered her training at Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis, Missouri. She then joined the St. Louis Ballet as a Trainee, performing works by Gen Horiuchi. Olivia moved to Kansas City, where she earned a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with a dual emphasis in Ballet and Modern techniques, and a minor in Business Administration. During her college years, she had the privilege of performing pieces by renowned choreographers including DeeAnna Hiett, Ronald Tice, Gary Abott, Tempe Ostergren, Caroline Dahm, and Nicole Clarke Springer.

Olivia has further honed her skills at institutions such as Joffrey Ballet School, Kansas City Ballet, and Nashville Ballet. Currently, she is an active dancer and instructor in the Kansas City area. Olivia is passionate about sharing her extensive training and experience with her students, while fostering their growth and love for dance.
