Lisa Sirridge
Pilates Reformer/ Conditioning
Lisa Sirridge is a certified Pilates instructor receiving her training through DK Body Balance and Stott Pilates. She teaches fluid and core strengthening movements through classes using Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Barrels instruction. As a former professional dancer, Lisa knows the importance of good posture, core strength, balance, and flexibility. She feels Pilates is an excellent tool to address these issues as well as help in toning and sculpting muscles. Her introduction to Pilates in 2006 on a personal level led her to the DK Body Balance and Stott Pilates certification training programs. She has been teaching since 2010. In addition, she has trained in Injuries and Special Populations, Athletic Conditioning, and is a CORE Qualified Instructor. Lisa has successfully completed the Progressing Ballet Technique certification; a conditioning program for dancers. She studied ballet at the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and performed with The Kansas City Civic Ballet (now known as Kansas City Ballet), Westport Ballet, and City in Motion. After more than 25 years of experience in performing and teaching ballet, she is excited to incorporate Pilates into her fitness arena. Lisa feels, you do not have to be a dancer to train like one, and enjoys working with clients of all ages and levels.
