Joined KCB in 2025
Landen Walker began his ballet training at age 15 with his home studio in the Hudson Valley of New York. In 2022, he joined Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s professional division on full scholarship. In 2023, he was invited to train at Cary Ballet Conservatory, where he first competed in Youth America Grand Prix. At Youth American Grand Prix finals 2024, Walker received an invitation from Peter Stark to finish his training with The Rock School. Throughout his training, Walker has been fortunate to work closely with many excellent teachers and mentors, including Peter Stark, Natalya Zeiger, Etienne Diaz and Christina Johnson. He has had the opportunity to dance in George Balanchine’s Nutcracker and Who Cares? as well as perform featured roles such as Snow King and Cavalier in The Nutcracker and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
While presenting his solos at YAGP finals in 2025, he was honored and thrilled to accept a contract to begin his professional career with Kansas City Ballet as an apprentice.
