Jacob Thomas

Jacob Thomas is a Kansas native and is an accompanist for ballet, modern, and other classes at Kansas City Ballet School, as well as at UMKC. He earned his Bachelor of Music Composition from Kansas State University and is currently attending UMKC for his master’s degree. In addition to accompanying various dance classes, he loves to collaborate with dancers by composing pieces for/with choreographers, accompanying live performances, etc. Outside of dance, he is also a collaborative pianist for soloists and chamber music projects, musical theater productions, and other various projects around the area. Jacob is honored to be a part of Kansas City Ballet, and he hopes his love for dance comes through in the music he plays.
