Erin Steeley

Erin began dancing at an early age with Maxine’s Studio of Dance in Southern New Jersey. In 2003, she joined the Vineland Regional Dance Company where she received trained under Maxine and Kimberly Chapman, Daniel Marshall, Jeffrey Gribler, and other respected teachers. Erin traveled the United States with the VRDC for performances and further training. During this tenure, she also attended summer dance programs at Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Company, Craft of Choreography, and the Rock School of Dance Education. Erin attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City and graduated in 2014 with a BFA in Dance, minor in Business. While in the program, she performed in Antony Tudor’s Dark Elegies, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and works by Paula Weber, Sabrina Madison-Cannon, Mary Pat Henry, and other choreographers. In 2014 Erin joined Störling Dance Theater, where she danced with the company for 5 seasons. Currently, Erin performs with VidaDance Company (since 2015), and in the summer of 2019 she was named Rehearsal Director for VidaDance Company. Erin is the Interim Children’s Division & School Coordinator for the  Kansas City Ballet School. She is honored to be part of Kansas City Ballet School’s faculty and to pass down her passion for dance and dance education for students of all ages.
