Corabelle Kennedy, from Omaha, Nebraska, began her training at Heartland Conservatory of Dance. She spent her summers training at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. At 17, she joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Graduate Program under the direction of Marjorie Grundvig. Kennedy performed alongside the main company in Susan Jaffe’s Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s Diamonds and Theme and Variations. She then joined Milwaukee Ballet second company where she danced in Michael Pink’s Dracula and Cinderella. Kennedy joined Kansas City Ballet as a trainee the following year.  

During her time as a trainee, she performed in productions including ALICE (in wonderland), The Great Gatsby, Rodeo, Don Quixote, Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes and Devon Carney’s Swan Lake. Kennedy was recently promoted to KCB II.
