Aidan Duffy

Joined KCB in 2023

Originally from Philadelphia, Aidan Duffy began his training with the School of Pennsylvania (now Philadelphia) Ballet and the Rock School for Dance Education. He then joined Boston Ballet School’s professional division as a recipient of the Pao Scholarship, before being invited into Boston Ballet’s graduate program. With Boston Ballet, Duffy had the opportunity to perform with the company in Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker and Petipa/Ashton’s The Sleeping Beauty, as well as Franz in Coppélia Act III, pas de trois from Le Corsaire, and roles in new works by Ja’ Malik, Chyrstyn Fentroy and Arianna Hughlett with Boston Ballet School. His training was supplemented by coaching with Chérie Noble and summers at the School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, Miami City Ballet School, and Ellison Ballet.

Duffy’s repertoire with Kansas City Ballet includes Val Caniparoli’s Jekyll & Hyde, Devon Carney’s Peter Pan and The Nutcracker (Snow King), George Balanchine’s Jewels (Emeralds pas de trois, Rubies, and Diamonds), Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland) (King of Hearts), Anna-Marie Holme’s Don Quixote (Espada), Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Tulips and lobster, William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, and Lila York’s Celts (Red Man). He has also had the privilege of performing alongside the Philadelphia Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra.
