Summer Programs

Fundamentals of Dance 5-6

Fundamentals of Dance will introduce the child to the structure of a dance class, transitioning them towards Pre-Ballet.

Quality of movement, the intricacy of patterns and expectations are elevated for the maturing child. While dance elements are further developed, imagery, musicality, creative thinking, spatial awareness, and teamwork continue to be emphasized. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes. Ages 5-6: Just finished Kindergarten

Learn more about our summer camps for ages 3-7. These week-long camps are an excellent way for your child to learn poise, balance, rhythm, taking instruction, and working with others, and more—all under the guidance of our professional, year-round dance faculty.
