KC Ballet Summer Intensive Curriculum

Take your ballet technique deeper

Summer Intensive provides a deep dive into ballet technique as they prepare you for a career as a professional ballet dancer. Programs are designed to address the individual technical and artistic needs of intermediate and advanced/pre-professional students. Classes are taught by KC Ballet School faculty and guests. Students will attend classes Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity.

Throughout the program, gentlemen will have classes on their own and in combination with the ladies. All students will learn repertory that will be shown on the final day of the intensive.

Final Demonstration

On the final day of the program, students demonstrate what they’ve learned throughout their time with the Kansas City Ballet School. Students will showcase their progress in a demonstration on Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Michael and Ginger Frost Studio Theater.
