KCB is committed to the health and safety not only of our students, faculty and staff, but also to our broader community. Our closing is the best way that KCB can protect our KCBS Family and our city. It is our way to aid ‘flattening the curve’ and ‘social distancing’. It is this objective that has guided us to close the School until the end of the semester.

We understand the devastating effects this will have on our School, faculty and students. All of us are waiting to see how our lives will be impacted. So many employment sectors are taking a ‘hit’. Our organization is cancelling all events, including performances for the remainder of the season. Performance revenue along with tuition, are two major income streams for KCB and without these two revenue streams, KCB is at great risk. KCB is doing the most that it can to support our faculty and staff through this.

In this light we are asking our families to help keep KCBS afloat by donating your academy tuition and/or studio class fees. This donation will be tax-deductible and so very impactful to the future of KCB.

Your donation will help us to retain our amazing faculty and to keep KCB alive through this terrible time of uncertainty.
