Safety and Health Policies
KANSAS CITY ballet COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Kansas City Ballet is looking forward to welcoming audiences while keeping the health and safety of guests, staff and performers a top priority.
All public performances of Kansas City Ballet at the Kauffman Center will continue to accept ONLY PROOF OF FULL COVID-19 VACCINATION WITH MATCHING PICTURE IDENTIFICATION.
Masks will also be required, regardless of vaccination status, while inside the building, except while eating or drinking in designated locations.
Kansas City Ballet will not accept negative COVID-19 tests from unvaccinated individuals for entry into performances at the Kauffman Center. On October 11, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts updated its policy to accept negative COVID-19 tests or proof of vaccination for select events. This policy change does not affect public performances by Kansas City Ballet, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas City Symphony, or the Harriman-Jewell series, which will continue to allow only fully vaccinated patrons.
When children under 12 years of age can be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 they may attend performances. We are unable to accommodate unvaccinated children under 12, or any unvaccinated patrons for public performances. Due to the circumstances, all ticket purchases during the 2021-2022 season are refundable prior to the performance.
