Malerie Moore

KCB II

Malerie Moore is an Olathe, KS native who began her training under Kristopher Estes-Brown and Jennifer Tierney. She attended summer programs at American Ballet Theater and Milwaukee Ballet before joining Milwaukee’s Second Company in 2018 under Rolando Yanes, performing in Michael Pink’s Dracula and The Nutcracker. In 2019, Ms. Moore moved to BalletMet and performed in Edwaard Liang’s world premieres of Tributary, Alice in Wonderland, and in Liang’s The Nutcracker. Ms. Moore came to Kansas City in 2021 as a Trainee, and was promoted to KCB II in 2022. During her time in KC she has  performed corps roles in works such as George Balanchine’s Serenade, Devon Carney’s The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Giselle, as well as Alexander Ekman’s Cacti, and was the first female in the role of Toto in Septime Webre’s The Wizard of Oz.  Ms. Moore made her choreographic debut at New Moves in 2021 with two other second company collaborators, and in 2022 debuted her own New Moves piece, too much talking. This is her third season with KCB.
