Contemporary Dance
This class is an exploration of organic movement inspired by the dancer,
choreographer and technique. Improvisation, floor work, fall and recovery
and emotional vulnerability encompass this class. Strong ballet and
modern training is needed.
Flamenco
Participants will learn a wide-variety of fiery Flamenco dance steps, rhythmic hand clapping, and how to exude attitude. It’s the most cost-effective trip to “Spain” you can find without leaving Kansas City. (1 Hour; Medium Intensity)
Jazz
Adult Jazz
Filled with inviting and invigorating energy, each class includes a jazz warm up, technical combinations, progressions and choreography. (1 Hour; Medium to High Intensity)

Nia
This is a fun, non-impact conditioning class which balances dance, martial arts and the healing arts into a total body workout. Gain strength, improve balance, calm your mind and engage your emotions through mindful movement in pleasure! You will find yourself moving joyfully to inspiring music with dynamic ease. Suitable for all fitness levels, Nia offers both cardio and relaxation benefits. (1 Hour; Medium Intensity)
Pilates Mat
This Mixed Level Pilates class is a non-impact, balanced system that works as well for the elite athlete as it does for the injured, or the unconditioned. It can produce results regardless of age or fitness level. Pilates is a tried and true method of exercise for true core development, total body strengthening and flexibility that delivers results! (1 Hour; Medium/High Intensity)
Open Pilates Reformer
This class is limited to 5 participants and is performed on the Pilates Reformer apparatus. Expect to strengthen your entire body through a system that produces long, lean, flexible muscles. Your posture will be taken to a new level. The spring system on the Reformer allows challenge to be added or subtracted as you improve and progress. The Reformer is both harder and easier than a Mat class, in that it creates resistance while providing assistance to your movements. Try this class out to achieve a ‘Pilates body’ which is similar to the appearance of a dancer’s body!
Choose from 3 set times per week (min. of 3 students per class and a max of 5). You must reserve your spot at least 24 hours in advance. Price is $25 per student. Call 816-931-2299 x2 to reserve your spot.
